Pakistan-India war 2025
Pakistan and India, both neighboring countries, share a 3,323-kilometer-long border line, known as the Radcliffe Line. The relationship between these two nations has never been very cordial. They have fought several wars before 2025, with the wars of 1965 and 1971 being the most notable.
Main cause of war:-
The biggest reason behind the strained relations between Pakistan and India is the Kashmir issue. The Kashmir dispute is a territorial conflict between India, Pakistan, and the Kashmiri separatists, and it has existed since the partition of India. Even before the partition, the relations between these two regions were tense.

Pakistan’s Silence:-
When India began attacking Pakistan with missiles and drones on May 7, 2025, Pakistan remained silent until May 10, 2025, responding only defensively and effectively thwarting India's assaults. During these attacks, a Pakistani army officer named General Asim Munir declared that Pakistan would respond strongly to India's aggression. Until May 10, 2025, India continued its attacks.
Counterattack:-
On May 10, 2025, Pakistani air force jets took flight toward India and launched retaliatory strikes. In this counterattack, the Pakistan Air Force targeted various Indian air bases, causing significant damage. Pakistan named this operation "Operation Banyan Marsus."
Ceasefire Agreement:-
On the morning of May 10, 2025, after Pakistan attacked India, U.S. President Donald Trump called for peace between the two nations. He mediated an agreement between the two countries, under which both sides agreed to a ceasefire. This agreement was called the "Ceasefire Agreement."
U.S. President Donald Trump:-
After the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, President Trump stated that, with U.S. mediation, both nations had agreed to an immediate and complete ceasefire.
